 In Advent 2023 we Walked with Angels. This year is a similar advent-uring. An opportunity to get out and about, in and around Hull, to walk, listen and actively wait together for things to come.

There’s no one approach. It could be completely spontaneous and random or easier/more realistic to follow a rhythm of Listening (eg: a set time and place everyday or anywhere once a week). Or both! Whatever works best depending on availability and capacity.

We’ll keep connected by a WhatsApp group and whatever’s sent in will be uploaded here so we can see how things are emerging. Photos, short films, musings, poems, scriptures, drawings, songs etc all good.

Then and there.

Walking open-eared,

Slowly, intentionally,

Watching, listening,

Praying, discerning,

Giving time to passers-by.

Posting thoughts and inspirations,

Photos and musings.

Piecing together a picture

Of what the Spirit may be saying

To this city and her people.

And where it all might lead

As we walk together

Through Advent towards Lent.
